The Autistic Collective CIC - East Renfrewshire
The Autistic Collective CIC came together out of necessity in 2020. We created this organisation in East Renfrewshire, as there wasn’t any specific support locally available to us as parents and carers of late identified/diagnosed Autistic and AuDHD people.
We support parents and carers in safe and neuro-affirming, and nurturing and non-judgemental spaces through learning, empowerment and signposting.
Nobody quite “gets it” like someone who’s walked, or is walking a similar path!
We believe the best way to learn about Autistic, and wider Neurodivergent experience is from Autistic/Neurodivergent-led “autism” professionals, educators and content creators.
Woodland Play Ltd
At our outdoor nursery, inspired by the forest schools model, children spend the majority of their time outside, connecting with nature at their own pace, either at base camp or out among the trees in the woodland walks and trails.
Based at Greenbank Gardens, this partnership nursery is open Monday to Friday 8-6 with flexible full or part-time places. Children spend most of each day outside in child-led free play, in either the base camp in the paddock, in the woodland walk or in the Paddock playing with the Mud Kitchen
