Adventure Clubs
Funded by the National Lottery through our grant 'Supporting our Neurodivergent Community'.
Our Adventure Clubs provide outdoor play and learning in a natural woodland space.
Available to kids aged 6 to 12 who would benefit from small group sizes and low demand-based activities.
Friday and Saturday PM sessions are open to children who need minimal supervision to attend.
Family Saturday morning session is for children who would require extra support to attend, the parent/carer acts their support, and staff can help parents with the various activities onsite.
Friday after school 3.45 to 5.45
Saturday Family Session 10am - 12pm
Saturday afternoon 12.30 to 2.30
Food Growing Cooperative
Through funding by The Lottery, we are developing a food growing project.
Primarily aimed at supporting our neurodivergent community we are looking for people to come and help.
No skills or experience is required, other than a willingness to come along regularly and help grow the site and the plants!
We are creating both a Food Forest and also annual crop growing, using permaculture or sustainable food growing principles.
In return, you will get to spend time outside, meeting like minded people and get to access fresh and homegrown food!
Women’s Well-being Group
Funded by the National Lottery through our grant 'Supporting our Neurodivergent Community'.
These sessions are designed to offer support and improve well-being and are open to women who support a neurodivergent child in their family and would benefit from some time to engage with other women in a similar situation, within a local urban nature setting.
The sessions will run over 8 weeks, Friday mornings - 10.30am-1pm.
During the sessions we will be offering a wide range of activities aimed at promoting connections and improving mental wellbeing.
Previous participants have said: “It is wonderful having this time each week at Off Grid where we know when we step through the gate we can just switch off and have some time for us”.
